For my Intro to Graphic Design class at Syracuse University, my third project was to make an interactive scroll story using Figma and having AI write the article for us. As a die-hard Knicks fan, I chose my story topic to be New York center Mitchell Robinson and focused on his growth from unknown prospect to defensive anchor.
Aside from focusing on spacing, the biggest new element of this project centered around interactions. We needed at least one interactive infographic for the piece, and I decided to make a slideshow of Robinson's injury history. Using Figma, I created buttons where viewers could flip through slides back and forth and return to the start at their convenience.
In addition, I also included photos and data to showcase Robinson's growth such as a bar chart and graph. I do include a solid amount of texts, but want readers to have breathing room and a place to pause, so I added visuals.
While the story is about Robinson, I also added an Additional Page about the Knicks overall and their history in case readers wanted to know more about the team's background.
